Remember awhile back when I said I wanted to create a wall hanging out of this?
Well, I did it. It’s been a rough few weeks and I thought I needed a little pick-me-up project and this just fit the bill perfectly. Didn’t turn out half bad, if I do say so myself. It’s stitched onto Irish linen.
I even framed it, leaving the raw edges visible. I like it better that way, I think.
I think my favourite is the tree.
Finding the right shades of brown was surprisingly harder than I thought, as there seemed to be no option for bridging the two darker colours to the two lighter colours. But whatevs. I can live with it, cause do you see that field?
😉
its fantastic!
